Groupe Lebel'S netiquette
Social media used and managed by Groupe Lebel contain certain rules of good conduct to be followed (netiquette). Users are encouraged to learn them before going on these social media platforms. It is assumed that these conditions are understood by all, and consequently, apply without prior notice.
Groupe Lebel owns the following four (4) accounts:
- Facebook : Groupe Lebel
- Groupe Facebook (internal group) : Employés de Groupe Lebel
- LinkedIn : Groupe Lebel
- YouTube : Groupe Lebel
Please be aware that these are the only social media accounts recognized by Groupe Lebel. Unless given explicit content by Groupe Lebel, any other profile or page on social media that posts under the name of Groupe Lebel or its affiliates expose itself to legal consequences.
Social media are made to inform, but also to allow discussions. Users are therefore invited to participate to these exchanges. However, some rules must be followed.
- Groupe Lebel encourages the diffusion and sharing of information made available to subscribers;
- Groupe Lebel strongly encourage subscribers to use good writing practice during those exchanges;
- Groupe Lebel reminds everyone that capital letters should be used sparingly. On the web, using them is the equivalent of shouting;
- Groupe Lebel asks subscribers to respects all the other users in their remarks. Any comments deemed disrespectful, racist, sexist, aggressive, violent, or harassing will be deleted;
- The only advertisements are the ones created and authorized by Groupe Lebel. Any other posts of advertising character will be deleted;
- Groupe Lebel reserves the right to block a subscriber if they violate the netiquette. Groupe Lebel will emit, in certain cases, a warning to said subscriber;
- Groupe Lebel’s posts are binding only on the company, even if they mention other organizations. Consequently, if published information is inaccurate, Groupe Lebel will not be held liable;
- The terms of use of the respective social media platforms, as well as the various articles of the Civil and Criminal Codes of Quebec, must be respected;
- During emergencies, the use of social media might be increased and can prioritize urgent information. Therefore, interactions with subscribers might be delayed or suspended;
- Comments and conversations are encouraged, but complains will not be processed on social media. They must be directly addressed to the Communications Team of Groupe Lebel by writing to this address: communication.lebel@groupelebel.com;
- Media inquiries should be directed to the Communications team by writing at communication.lebel@groupelebel.com.
All social medias are managed by the Communications Team and by the Human Resources team. Groupe Lebel reserves the right to modify the netiquette without notice.
Groupe Lebel’s social medias are managed during the office open hours, from Monday to Friday. Therefore, answers to comments will happen as soon as possible during this time frame.
