Sand/snow fence
Groupe Lebel is one of the leading manufacturers of wooden fencing in northeastern North America. Wood fences are used mainly to protect sand dunes and prevent snow accumulation. Our fences are available in green, red or natural colors, and are produced with 3/8''X 1-1/2'' SPF (spruce-pine-fir) wood slats.
When installed, they create a vortex of air and a barrier to snow accumulation, saving you time and money on snow removal and property damage. They are also used to minimize erosion of sand dunes and preserve beaches, while blending with the landscape with their natural color.
Wooden fences are the traditional choice for keeping snow from drifting onto roads, freeways and airport runways, and for protecting beach dunes. They are also used on golf courses to create enclosures, delimit an area, protect vegetation, create shade, etc.
