WOOD PELLET
Located in Cacouna, our Lebel Énergie plant produces bulk industrial wood pellets mainly for export markets.
Wood pellets are a solid, clean and renewable biofuel with a low carbon footprint. Highly standardized, they are mainly used in two key areas:
- for heating buildings via high-efficiency stoves or boilers
- as an alternative to coal in thermal power plants.
Manufactured essentially from wood processing by-products, our pellets contain no glue or additives.
